Where to Go Strawberry Picking Near the San Francisco Bay Area - Updated 2026

Are you ready for some U-Pick strawberry fun? If your kiddos are anything like mine, they go bananas for strawberries. And lucky for us, there are some awesome farms to go strawberry picking near the Bay Area that are perfect for our little berry pickers. In this blog post, I'm going to share some of the best spots where you and your little ones can pick delicious strawberries. So, grab your sun hats and let's get ready for a berry good time!


Don't forget the number one rule of U-pick: ALWAYS check their website and/or social media BEFORE YOU GO because their hours change based on crop availability


Note: U-pick strawberry farms hours are constantly changing based on crop availability, weather, and other factors. They often get picked out quickly so play to arrive early. R&R Fresh Farms

Typical hours: Mon: 12-6pm and Tue - Sun from 10-6pm, but will close when picked out.

Berry Island Farm

Typical hours: Saturdays from 9am to 12pm or until picked out

Open Saturdays and Sunday 9am to 6pm, or until picked out

Not too many strawberries this year but Olaliberries and Boysenberries available too.

Hours vary based on crop availability but typically Wednesdays and Sundays

Creswell Family Farms

Open weekends from 9am to 2pm or until picked out (Plan to arrive early!). Also open on some weekdays. Check their social media for updates.


Chao’s Strawberries 

2600 B Walnut Blvd, Brentwood

Typically open on Saturdays 8am-until picked out. They also have a farmstand open during weekdays


Three Nunns Farm 

550 Walnut Blvd, Brentwood

Open daily 9am to5pm for U-pick strawberries, cherries, peach, and apricot. See Social media for updates !


Berry Best Family Farm 

7450 Balfour Rd, Brentwood

Typically Saturdays 9am til picked out (around 12pm) but varies so check social media for hours and info
