ZooLights at San Francisco Zoo

ZooLights is back at the SF Zoo for the first time since 2018, with over a million lights across 14 zones. Expect glowing 3D animal installations, a "frozen" zone for family photos, interactive light-up playgrounds, and the Dinos Rule! exhibit lit up at night. Rides are open, and food carts serve hot chocolate, warm cider, donut holes and pretzels. This week: Wed Nov 11 – Sun Nov 15. Wed, Thu & Sun 5:30–9 PM; Fri & Sat 5:30–10 PM. Good to know: - Separate ticket from daytime zoo admission: $30 adults, $21 kids 2–11 ($3 off for members). No reservation needed; tickets are good for any one night of the run. - Last entry is 8 PM Sun–Thu and 9 PM Fri–Sat. - Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Runs Wednesdays–Sundays through Jan 3, 2027. - If weather forces a closure, the zoo decides 24 hours ahead, and your ticket works on another night.
