Scaregrove Halloween Event

SF Rec & Park's annual free Halloween event at Stern Grove, for the whole family. Expect a haunted house, carnival rides, a haunted maze, a children's maze, arts and crafts, live entertainment on the Concert Meadow stage, and food trucks (food for sale). Costumes encouraged! Good to know: - Parking is very limited and traffic will be heavy; arrive early or take Muni (28-19th Ave to Sloat & 19th, or the 23 to Crestlake & Vale). - Free bike valet at Wawona & 21st Ave. - Free accessible shuttle loops from 3pm–9:30pm from the Vale Ave entrance; 40 disability parking spaces on Crestlake Dr. - Front-of-line wristbands for kids with disabilities, a sensory-friendly tent, and ASL interpretation at the stage. - The roads down into the grove are steep, so a stroller with good wheels helps. - No pets (service animals welcome). - Restrooms at both ends of the event.
