Train Day at Los Altos History Museum

Join us for the beloved Train Day event, now in its 15th year! Interact with train enthusiasts, explore steam and electric model trains, try your hand at robotics, and enjoy classic train-themed movies. About the Program Geared to all ages, this event showcases model railroads and activities for train lovers including: Robotics Demonstration by Menlo Park Narleotters Build your own LEGO train Old Train Films in the Geschke Gallery Train float featured in the Festival of Lights Parade Participating clubs displaying their model trains include BAGRS Live Steam Group, Diablo Pacific Short Line, Golden Gate American Flyer Club, and Joan Hodnett and Chris Cross of the Golden State Toy Train Operating Society. Hot dogs, chicken and pork tamales, pretzels, and fresh squeezed lemonade will be available for purchase from The Bay’s Lemonade. Admission is $10 per person; free for Museum members and children 12 and under. Pay at the gate.
